Kimberley Martin – Principal

Kimberley started dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown of Exmouth, Devon in the UK.At the age of 15 she won a place in the Senior Associates at Central Ballet School, London and went on to full time vocational education at Northern Ballet School, Manchester where she studied Classical Ballet, Musical Theatre, Music, History of Dance, and Stage Management. She has completed advanced exams in ballet (R.A.D, I.S.T.D), Tap (I.S.T.D) and Modern (I.S.T.D) and is currently an affliate member with the Australian Teachers of Dancing (A.T.O.D).

A strong believer is continuous professional development, Kimberley has recently embarked on a Level 6 Dance Teaching Diploma with the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservetorire in London which she will complete next year. Kimberley has performed in many productions for stage as well as TV appearances and dance competitions accross the UK. In 2015 Kimberley began her new dance adventure – Tutus and Tiaras where she aims to share her passion for dance ina safe and fun environment with young dancers across the Island!


Rosie – Instructor

Rosie's career in performing, teaching, choreographing and coaching dance started 15 years ago. She trained in and studied various forms of dance and movement such as Jazz, Horton, Cheerdance, Hiphop, Contemporary Ballet and Gymnastics – both as a member of two of the most established dance organizations in the University of the Philippines – UP Streetdance Club’s THE CREW and UP Pep Squad, and as a scholar in Steps Dance Studio, a premier dance studio whose strength is Contemporary and Classical Ballet and Jazz. Rosie heads up our Hip Hop team here at Tutus and Tiaras under the name " The Hoppers".


Zahran – Instructor

With little guidance and a group of friends, Zahran started b-boying (breakdancing) in open public spaces at age 14. It has since developed into a full-blown passion for the dance and he has not stopped since. Representing two crews- Easy Sunday and Usual Suspects, he has participated in many b-boy jams in Singapore and even a few abroad. Teaching started with the young lads from Singapore Boys Home as well as other freelance classes in schools. Despite his work as a Barista cum Events Executive at a local cafe, Zahran is still active in the b-boy scene here and of course, teaching.


Carly Trundle - Instructor

Carly started dancing from the age of 2 in the UK and at the age of 16 she went into professional full time training and graduated from SLP College with a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance. During her time at college Carly completed all her advanced 2 exams in Ballet (Cecchetti and RAD), Modern (IDTA and ISTD) Tap (ISTD and IDTA), whilst in training Carly also achieved her Associate Of The London College Of Music (ALCM) Carly has performed in the West End and toured the UK. Some of her Theatre Credits Inc: Sylvia in Stepping Out and Siu in Three Little Pigs at the Greenwich Theatre, Boy Meets Boy (Jermyn Street), Milkshake Live! (UK Tour), High School Rocks (UK Tour) Television Credits Inc: The Bill, Inside Out With Jason Manford, Ruth Beach in Holby City, My Family Christmas Special, Gelina in CBeebies ‘Hounded”.

Prior to leaving England Carly has co-produced Vision Accomplished Productions which has successful cabaret nights at The Battersea barge in London’s West End.

Carly has been teaching professionally for over 7 years in London and Singapore. Carly has directed shows in Singapore’s International schools and choreographed for many events and shows within Singapore’s prestigious hotels.

Carly is excited to share her love, knowledge and passion for dance, singing and acting!


Serene Seah - Instructor

Serene Seah has been dancing since she was 7 . She began her studies at the Sylvia McCully School of Dancing and Mdm Fung Kway Wah, completing the Royal Academy of Dancing(RAD) and The Commonwealth Society of Dancing(CSTD) Syllabi in Classical Ballet.

Her passion for dance took her overseas where she obtained her Diploma in Performing Arts(Dance) from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2011. 

Serene has taken part in Chingay Parade Singapore(2005-2010), National Day parade(2005) and has been actively teaching since 2007 in numerous pre schools, dance studios and Community Clubs across Singapore.

Serene holds a Teaching Certificate in CSTD  Classical Ballet and is currently doing her RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies(CBTS).
