Make Up Classes

  • No make up classes.

  • Only one discount maybe applied at any one time.

Special Needs

  • It is our policy not to exclude any child due to special needs, wherever possible. The needs of each child vary, so decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, depending on the level of support each individual child requires to enable them to fully participate in and enjoy activities at Tutus and Tiaras. We request that parents of children with special needs contact Kimberley Martin to discuss how we can best accommodate their child, and consider whether any special arrangements need to be made.

  • On rare occasions, a child may prove incompatible with the general well-being of class e.g. special needs not previously known by management, not toilet trained and attending an unaccompanied class, we reserve the right to withdraw the child from enrollment. This will be done with a full discussion with their parents.

Unsupervised Release

  • Your child will not be released from class, unsupervised, without a prior agreement with Tutus and Tiaras, in writing from a parent or guardian. No child under the age of 7 will be released unsupervised.

  • In case of need, and in the event that the parents cannot be contacted to give consent, the teacher in charge may authorise the medical examination of the child, the calling of further medical or specialist advice or the removal of the child to hospital, all the expenses thereby incurred to be met by the parents. The parent agrees that Tutus and Tiaras or any persons authorised by Tutus and Tiaras shall not be liable or responsible for any accident or personal injury sustained or suffered by the child, or for any damage to property however caused while the child is participating in any activity connected to the Tutus and Tiaras classes.

Class Etiquette

  • Please stay until your child’s class has started (if applicable) as you are responsible for your child until then. For the same reason we ask you to collect your child promptly after their class.

  • If you are running late, please give us a call so that we can let your child know that you are on your way. Someone will remain at the studio until all children have been picked up.

  • Please wait outside the studios until the teacher opens the door.

  • If the class is an ECA class after school, please let us know if your child is not at school that day so we are not waiting for children unnecessarily thus delaying the start of class.

  • Parents are not allowed to watch inside the studios, as this distracts the students.

  • Students are not allowed to bring food into the studios. However, we encourage children to bring their water bottles into the studio.

  • Please ensure that your child has been to the toilet before their class. We will accompany young children to the toilet and keep track of those, who are old enough to go on their own.

  • Children must be fully toilet trained to attend unaccompanied dance classes.

  • Please ensure that your child is wearing the proper class attire and has their hair in a bun for ballet and in a ponytail for all other classes.

  • The teachers are always happy to talk to parents, but please be aware that classes are sometimes back to back. If this is the case then they will be more than happy to make an appointment at an appropriate time.

Equal Opportunities

It is the policy of Tutus and Tiaras to operate in an environment that is free from discrimination of any kind. This includes treating people fairly and equally regardless to race, colour, religion, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, age or any other grounds.

Image & Video Usage Guidelines

From time to time we record class work to be used for media and academic release. Attendance of any Tutus and Tiaras class, show or workshop is acceptance of usage of your child’s photograph or video clip. These will sometimes be posted onto our private online learning portal Movitae which are shared with parents within the Tutus and Tiaras database. Occasionally photos are shared onto our social media platforms.

Should you NOT wish any photos to be used of your child please contact us directly.
